Nails Inc Garrick Street and Nails Inc Aspen

Hi everyone! I've been pretty busy for the last few days, but have still managed to get a few quick pictures of my nails.

Nails Inc Aspen

Nails Inc Garrick Street

I've been busy because I've been learning to pole dance...yuck!

The horrendous picture above is one of the reasons that I've been busy - my lovely friend Louise has been teaching me to pole dance. It's ridiculously good fun, but as you can see my legs aren't quite tough enough yet! I am secretly (not so secretly!) proud of these bruises because I've really enjoyed what I've learnt so far - totally worth the bruises!

But, the nails. They are Nails Inc Aspen and Nails Inc Garrick Street. Two of my favourite colours, quick and easy in two coats with Seche Vite topcoat and Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle basecoat. Lovely for when I don't have time for nail art. Though I will be doing some of that tomorrow night!

Nails Inc Emerald Street

Tonight's nails are a polish I've shown you here before (HERE) so this is just a couple of quick pictures! I just felt like wearing this colour again, it's so nice.

What I used:
  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle
  • Nails Inc Emerald Street (2 coats)
  • Seche Vite topcoat

I didn't feel like spending a lot of time doing my nails tonight...I've got a great book on the go...

Nails Inc Culford Gardens and Percy Street

Here are tonight's nails! They were inspired by @bmwmchick from Instagram.

What I used:
  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle basecoat
  • Nails Inc Percy Street (pink - 2 coats) and Nails Inc Culford Gardens (gold - sponged)
  • Seche Vite topcoat

This look was achieved by sponging the gold over the pink! It was pretty quick and easy.

I'm tired at the moment - I had my first pole dancing lesson last night and I'm black and blue haha. My muscles ache like crazy...do any of you pole? It was so much fun! Had to be careful not to break any nails though...

Galaxy Nails again!

This is my second go at galaxy style nails, and they came out pretty much the same...so this is just a quick picture post! My original post can be found HERE!

April Jolie Box

My April Jolie box arrived today - and unlike last month, I'm actually pretty happy with it.

Here's what I received:

Here's a rundown of what I received in my box:

BellaPierre Mascara - I'm always happy to try a new mascara, and I like the look of this one, it has a nice 'normal' brush - I don't like gimmicky brushes! I'm on the hunt for a mascara that is thickening as well as lengthening, but without being full of irritating fibres, so hopefully this will be nice.

Balance Me Daily Essentials Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm - I love cleansing balms, and this is a good size to take away for a couple of nights. It contains anti-oxidant Artic Cloudberry, which sounds intriguing, and oatmeal. Incidentally, this is the sort of product that I'm most likely to repurchase. Other than nail polish, I have a bit of a skincare obsession.

Pure Fiji Exotic Bath and Body Oil - This is the product I'm least excited to try, but it smells lovely, like holiday in a bottle! I always have dry legs, so I do quite like oils.

Tropic Skincare Skin Revive - This is a nourishing skin cream. It looks quite nice, but my sample is tiny, the pot is half empty! Smells good though! I'll try the little bit I have and see how it is.

KMS California Freeshape Hot Flex Spray - This is a protective heat styling spray. I'm looking forward to trying this, I got a KMS California product in a GlossyBox which I still use and love, and since I straighten my hair every day this should be useful! I'm getting my hair cut next weekend (finally - I look like a Lego man) so I'll trial this once my hair isn't annoying me!

So, overall, I'll happily try everything that's in this box, and I'm really looking forward to using the hair product and the cleansing balm.

Did you like your JolieBox this month?

Nails Inc Culford Gardens & Chalk Farm, Models Own Pastel Pink and Essie Matte About You

Tonight's nails. I did the pink first, but then I wasn't over keen on it, so I changed it to blue. But now I'm not sure about either haha. Though I do like the contrast between the gold and the matte. I think it's because I went to a spa day hen party today and had a full body massage...It's made me sleepy and weird!

Before matte

What I used:
  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle basecoat
  • Nails Inc Culford Gardens (gold) Models Own Pastel Pink, Nails Inc Chalk Farm (blue)
  • Essie Matte About You topcoat
  • Seche Vite topcoat over the gold
At the bottom there is the WAH nails book that I got from Amazon. I like it, but I wish it had bigger and better photos!

What do you think? Do you prefer the pink or the blue?

Nails Inc Montrose Place, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Shade 53 and Lush Lemony Flutter

Today's nails are my Nails Inc VIP free polish - when you sign up to Nails Inc's VIP membership you get a free polish gift and 10% off each order. You also earn 1 point for every £10 spent on the website and for every 5 points you redeem you get £5 off. For £5 for a year, I think this is well worth having! If just for the gift alone, which is worth £11. Find it here: Nails Inc VIP

This is a bit picture heavy but I love it! It is SUCH a bright pink with a blueish shine/undertones, and it goes on so smoothly and is totally opaque in two coats. My kinda polish.

SUNSHINE!

EVEN MORE SUNSHINE!! It rained heavily all morning so I was excited...

 What I used:
  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle topcoat
  • Nails Inc Montrose Place (2 coats)
  • Seche Vite topcoat

I also bought these today (and yep, I'm showing you my nails again!) I have heard good things about the Bourjois foundation. At the moment I use Estee Lauder Double Wear, which I love, but I thought there'd be no harm in trying a less expensive brand to see how it is! Is anyone interested in hearing my thoughts on it? I'll post something if anyone is. This is shade 53 Light Beige.

The Lemony Flutter is also something I've heard great things about, and it smells amazing. My cuticles are a bit dry after all this cold weather so I got them a treat! I've already put some on my husband, who merely commented "Hmmm. Smells nice." Which is a decent review I'd say ;) Again, I'll review this one after a bit of use.

Konad Q1 Pink!

Tonight's nails...I felt like doing some stamping (well, I wanted to last night but I RAN OUT of nail polish remover. I swear I get through a bottle a week!) so tonight I chose my favourite plate, Q1.

This plate just makes me smile. I love the swallows! I really wish Konad would produce some more plates like this, with images that are a bit different from the usual flowers and things. I'd love to see a Konad plate with some really cool images, and I bet it would sell like crazy. I'm thinking tattoo flash stamps!

What I used:
  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle basecoat
  • Nail Pop in Vintage (2 coats)
  • Konad Q1
  • Konad Special Pink polish
  • Seche Vite topcoat

Exposed Mystic with Nails Inc Culford Gardens

Tonight's nails are nice and simple...I couldn't resist using the gorgeous Mystic again...I wish so much that I could show you the true colour though, I've never had a polish like it.

Looking blue!

I just added the gold dots with a dotting tool, nice and quick. I guess this was a bit of a 'favourites' manicure, as I love both of these colours and already use Culford Gardens a lot.

What I used:
  • Nails Inc Kensington Caviar basecoat
  • Exposed in Mystic (3 coats this time, looks lovely)
  • Nails Inc Culford Gardens for the dots
  • Seche Vite topcoat

Ooh, also, quite excited because my WAH Nails Book of Nail Art is on the way from Amazon...Will you be getting it?
